We headed to Indiana last week for some time with my husband's family. It was definitely tough to want to exercise and the record breaking heat didn't help. I did, however, do something every day :)
Day 1- Yoga video
Day 2- Run 30 minutes
Day 3- Turbo Fire HIIT (I borrowed this from my sister-in-law and it was great)
Day 4- Run 30 minutes
Day 5- Hike to fire tower
Day 6- Yoga video
Day 7- Yoga video
Day 8- Run HIIT
HIIT (just in case you are wondering) is High Intensity Interval Training where you intersperse short high intense anaerobic activity with recovery periods. And it looks like my yoga videos have become my fall back when I don't feel like doing anything else. I forgot how much I enjoy yoga.

I want to try this HIT thing. Is it a video you can stream or buy on Amazon? You've inspired me, I'm trying to exercise while on vacation too!
ReplyDeleteThe one my sister in law had was Turbo Fire and it is a set of videos that is pretty expensive. I am sure there are some out there to stream I am just too lazy to look for them :)
